My name is Allison and I’m a writer with a background in communications and public relations. I started off my career working on local electoral campaigns. From there, I branched out to freelance writing and content creation for health and wellness and lifestyle brands.

I love to read books and watch stuff and overanalyze it afterwards. So that’s what I write about here: the films, television, and literature that strike a chord and say something about human nature or the world at large.

Besides pontificating about books and movies, I like to run. I also like to film and photograph things I see. I spend too much money on Topo Chico, and I will drive around aimlessly for hours if there’s nobody around to stop me.
